The Important Things We are Doing to Keep You and Our Team Safe During the COVID-19 Pandemic

We are excited to welcome you back to the practice and to assure you of our commitment to your dental health.  While many things have changed over the past few months, one thing has remained the same:  our rock-solid commitment to your safety and well-being through a comprehensive Infection Control program updated with the latest recommendations from healthcare industry experts.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and we are constantly focusing on the very latest recommendations from the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to keep you safe and comfortable.  We closely follow these agencies to ensure our infection control processes are up-to-date with any new rulings or guidance.  So, rest assured, we are laser focused and ready to get back to serving your dental needs!

In light of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we emphasize the following additional measures implemented that go well beyond the standard requirements to ensure your safety:

  • Personalized pre-appointment health screenings by phone prior to arrival
  • Individualized arrival procedures to guide you from your car and into the office to ensure social distancing from other patients
  • Personalized patient scheduling to ensure social distancing
  • Implemented daily health checks with temperature readings of patients and staff members prior to any procedures
  • Required that patients arrive wearing masks and use our hand sanitizer when entering practice
  • Introduced an oral pre-rinse for all patients to reduce exposure of germs
  • Installed sneeze guards or droplet barriers at the reception area
  • Continuous hand washing and hand sanitizing by staff between appointments
  • Implemented disinfection of all common touch surfaces on the half-hour each business day
  • Implemented new protocols to reduce or eliminate airborne aerosols during dental procedures
  • Installed HEPA 13 Air Filters to remove germs in recirculating air conditioning and heating systems so the air in the office is continually cleaned
  • Professionally installed commercial grade UV-C lamps within HVAC system to kill germs and viruses in the office air
  • Utilize the latest CDC identified personal protective equipment like face shields, gowns, gloves, and N-95 masks as barriers against the smallest germs
  • Disinfection of all mail and supplies upon arrival
  • Enhanced disinfection of all surfaces such as doorknobs, computers, keyboards, phones, tablets, countertops, and equipment
